**Latvia Bans 16 Georgian Citizens**
The government of Latvia has taken a tough stance against some Georgians. The country‘s foreign minister, Baiba Braže, wrote on the social media platform X that 16 Georgian citizens have been banned from entering Latvia.
This decision was made because these people did not follow the rules. They were put on a list called “persona non grata”. This means they are not allowed to enter Latvia for an unlimited time.
The minister said this decision was made according to the country’s law, which allows for such actions in certain cases.
