Russian attacks across Ukraine have killed at least two civilians and injured at least 21 over the past day. This is according to regional authorities, who reported on April 1.
**Missile Defenses Successfully Intercept Russian Attacks**
Ukrainian air defenses successfully shot down two Kh-59/69 guided aerial missiles launched by Russia against Zaporizhzhia Oblast. The Air Force reported this successful intercept. It’s worth noting that Russian forces did not carry out a mass drone strike against Ukrainian civilian infrastructure overnight, marking the first such instance in 2025.
**Regional Breakdown of Attacks**
In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Russian forces attacked the Nikopol district overnight and on March 31. A 54-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman were injured. In Dontesk Oblast, one civilian was killed in the village of Bahatyr, while another person was injured in the village of Drobysheve.
**Multiple Attacks Across Ukraine**
Five people were injured in Kupiansk in Kharkiv Oblast as a result of Russian attacks, and five houses, two cars, and a garage were damaged. In Kherson Oblast, six people were injured, with four high-rise buildings and 11 houses damaged. Two civilians were injured in Sumy Oblast, while several houses were damaged and a cultural center was set on fire.
**Fatal Attack in Zaporizhzhia Oblast**
In Zaporizhzhia Oblast, one woman was killed and five people were injured in a Russian attack against the village of Malokaterynivka.
