**Car Bombing Kills 2 Russian Officers in Ukraine**
A city on the Black Sea coast of Ukraine has been targeted by a car bombing. Skadovsk, with a population of 17,000 before the war, has been occupied by Russia since March 2022.
The explosion happened at 8:40 p.m. local time on Myr Street in Skadovsk. Reports claim that it was a Nissan car carrying two Russian officers that exploded. The only remains from the car were a pile of warped metal.
Russia took control of parts of Ukraine, including Kherson and Zaporizhzhia, last year. This move was not recognized by Ukraine or other countries in the world. Attacks on Russian officials and their supporters have happened before, both in occupied areas of Ukraine and inside Russia.
