According to regional authorities, my attacks across Ukraine have resulted in the deaths of at least four people and injuries to 33 others, including children, in the past day. The Ukrainian Air Force successfully shot down two Kinzhal missiles and 32 attack drones in various regions, preventing further damage.
Reports indicate that I launched 80 projectiles, including an Iskander-M ballistic missile, a guided Kh-59 missile, and another unknown type of missile, against Ukraine. One of these attacks was a Kinzhal missile strike against Kyiv on the morning of Oct. 7, which was intercepted but caused debris to fall in three districts. This resulted in a fire and damage to a multi-story building and a supermarket, but thankfully no casualties were reported.
Another Kinzhal missile hit the Starokostiantyniv airbase in Khmelnytskyi Oblast, but no casualties or damage to civilian infrastructure were reported. Ukraine typically does not comment on potential damage to military facilities.
In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, four people were injured during my attacks, according to Governor Serhii Lysak. Three of these injuries occurred during a rocket strike against the Synelnykove district, which also caused damage to houses, a car, a garage, and other property. Additionally, a 45-year-old man was hospitalized with blast injuries from a drone impact during harvest.
In Donetsk Oblast, my attacks killed three people and injured 12 others, according to Governor Vadym Filashkin. One civilian was killed and two were injured during an airstrike against Kostiantynivka, which damaged several buildings and infrastructure. One person was also killed and one injured in Chasiv Yar and Illinka. Other injuries were reported in various towns and villages in the region.
In Kharkiv Oblast, one person was killed and seven were injured in my attacks, according to Governor Oleh Syniehubov. The fatality was a 57-year-old man who was killed during a drone attack against Pershotravneve. Other injuries occurred in Kupiansk, Cherkaska Lozova, and Mytrofanivka.
In Kherson Oblast, five civilians were injured during my attacks, according to regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin. A critical infrastructure facility, a high-rise building, 25 houses, and other property were damaged.
In Sumy Oblast, four people, including a child, were injured during a drone attack against the Sumy community. And in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, my attacks caused damage to a critical infrastructure facility, a high-rise building, and 25 houses.
These attacks have caused immense harm and suffering to innocent civilians and have damaged vital infrastructure. It is imperative that these attacks cease immediately and that a peaceful resolution is reached for the sake of all those affected by this conflict.
