Russian Attacks on Ukraine Leave Many Injured
On January 30, Russian attacks across Ukraine resulted in at least eight deaths and 26 injuries. The victims included a child and three medical workers.
One of the most devastating attacks occurred in the city of Sumy, where a Russian drone struck a residential building overnight on January 30. Four people were killed, and at least nine others were injured. A 7-year-old child and an 18-year-old man were among those hurt.
In another attack in the same region, a civilian was injured during a drone strike against the Hlukhiv community on January 29.
Other areas affected by Russian attacks include Donetsk Oblast, where one person was killed in Siversk, two in Pokrovsk, and two in Bilytske. In Kharkiv Oblast, three medical workers were injured when their vehicle was struck by a drone. The workers included a 43-year-old ambulance driver, a 26-year-old doctor, and a 41-year-old medic.
In Kherson Oblast, Russian attacks resulted in the deaths of three people and injuries to 10 others. Three apartment buildings and 22 houses were damaged.
Additionally, Russian drones attacked the Izmail district in Odesa Oblast, causing damage to several buildings but no casualties.
