Ukraine’s Defense Ministry said that the DELTA system coordinated aerial drones, maritime drones, and land drones and integrated with allied technology.
The Ukrainian Defense Ministry announced on 21 October that the Naval Forces of the country had participated for the very first time in REPMUS 24 – NATO’s largest exercise focused on unmanned systems used in maritime operations. The exercise was held near the Troia Peninsula in Portugal between 9 September and 27 September 2024.
Delta is a platform for situational awareness that consolidates real time intelligence from multiple sources. This allows commanders of all levels to monitor the battlefields in real time. The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense announced in September that the Delta system would be deployed across all defense units and security forces. Delta was previously integrated with Poland’s TOPAZ system for artillery fire controls, which is used in the KRAB self-propelled howitzers and RAK mortars supplied by Poland, but now in service with Ukrainian Forces.
The Ukrainian Defense Ministry reports that during the REPMUS 24, the Ukrainian military demonstrated their DELTA Combat System, which successfully coordinated operations of more than 50 unmanned vehicles, including underwater, ground, surface and aerial drones. The versatility of the system was further demonstrated by its ability to receive and transmit location data from a German robot dog called Robotics-L developed by Rheinmetall.
