Working Group on Vashlijvari to Include Independent Experts

At press today, March , Tbilisi mayor revealed that he had instructed include independent experts as part of the Vashlijvari .
The mayor said that the situation regarding landslides on the Vashlijvari Slope is under control, and the population does not need to panic.
“We have increased security as much as we can and try to keep citizens out.” Too many people watch, then bring incorrect information to create panic. “If they are truly worried about the current state of affairs, our door is wide open and they can join our working group,” said the Mayor.
Kaladze stated that research is currently underway and the decision regarding the work to be done will be announced at the end of this week. He said that the group was formed on the first day, and German specialists have been added to it.
“These people worked on the restoration of Tskneti – Akhaldaba landslide roads and also on Sheshelidze Street where there was a grave problem and a great risk the locals. I know there are interested groups and experts who study similar regions in the city. They have a wealth of information. I will instruct Irakli Bendeliani, my deputy, to include these people in the group and work with them to solve a problem as quickly as possible,” said Kaladze.
