Gov’t declares October 25 a holiday after CEC request

On the basis of an appeal from the Central of Georgia, the Government of Georgia declared October 25 .
(CEC) says that the decision was made by the government on a request the CEC. The CEC said the decision was based on the fact that the are located in public and schools, which could cause delays to the setting up of polling stations on working days.
The CEC also stated that out of the 3,031 precincts for , 483 are kindergartens, 1,675 in public schools and 873 in other facilities.
