Euroactiv reports that Finnish leaders are pressuring Germany to abandon its reservations regarding weapon deliveries to Ukraine as President Alexander Stubb is preparing for talks with German chancellor Olaf Scholz.
Despite Ukraine’s appeals, Western nations, including the US, the UK and Canada, have restricted Ukraine’s use of long-range weapons, such as ATACMS missiles and Storm Shadows, to prevent deep attacks inside Russia. This was allegedly done to avoid escalation. Germany has refused to send Ukraine Taurus missiles since months.
