According to the decision of Coordination Council, foreigners will be able enter Georgia if the PCR test is negative, and the period of self-isolation has been reduced for Georgians to five days.
“From March 1, citizens from all countries, previously restricted to only 67 countries, will be able enter Georgia even with a negative PCR. A foreign national can enter Georgia under two conditions: vaccination and a negative PCR. Georgian citizens can enter the country on the basis of either a test or a vaccination. If they don’t have either, they are required to undergo a 8-day self isolation. However, the new decision reduces the self-isolation to only 5 days. The Coordination Council announced that if a citizen has a PCR, the requirement to perform a PCR the third day will be canceled.
