Giuli Alasania, the mother of Mikheil Sakaashvili, claims that the former president does not accuse Georgian government poisoning.
“My son doesn’t accuse Georgians of poisoning or the Georgian Government. He believes that, if indeed a fatal poisoning occurred, it is the style and traces of a foreign country that views my son as its enemy. These tests were performed by the best laboratory in California, US. It is considered to be the number one laboratory. The analysis was also performed by the best toxicologists. They are very concerned about their reputation, and will not take the issue lightly. This is a provocative act against the Georgian government. I urge everyone to refrain from reaching for political reasons and writing political points about my son’s deteriorating condition,” said Alasania.
She claimed that the issue regarding Mikheil Saakashvili‘s life and death has been resolved.
“I ask that everyone pay attention to what the mother is saying and exercise maximum restraint. My son has repeatedly stated that he will not continue to participate in Georgian politics. I hope a fair decision is made. Please remember that any speculation will only worsen my son’s health, which is already in a very bad state.
According to the Empathy Center’s report, Mikheil Sakaashvili is a third president of Georgia with about 10 diagnoses. This makes his imprisonment unsuitable.
According to the report of the center Mikheil Saakashvili suffers from a fever with an unknown cause, anorexia and rapid weight loss. He also has pain in his joints, muscles and bones. There are also scratch marks all over his body and muscle spasms. These symptoms could be caused by an infection or intoxication.
