On July 24, a major milestone was reached in Georgia’s renewable energies sector when the construction company, “Green Energy“, unveiled the world’s largest 25MW solar plant in the Marneuli Municipality. This ambitious project was designed to harness solar power and contribute to the sustainable development goals of the country.
A business trip to Georgia was organized by the executive director of “Yingli Solar,” a leading solar panel manufacturer in China. The delegation, accompanied by colleagues, met with key representatives of various energy organizations including the Energy Development Fund of Georgia, and the State Electricity System of Georgia.
These meetings were held to explore possible partnerships and discuss innovative ways to advance renewable energy technologies in this region. The delegation had a meeting with “Huawei” scheduled, which signified a commitment to collaborate with leading technology companies.

This collaboration between “Green Energy”, “Yingli Solar”, and “Yingli Energy” represents a promising step in accelerating the adoption of renewable energy in Georgia. The partnership will have a positive impact on the environment in the region, with “Green Energy” bringing its expertise in solar panel installation and design, and “Yingli Solar”, bringing its vast experience and expertise. These two companies’ combined efforts are expected to play a significant role in Georgia’s clean-energy transition and will also play a key role in combating climate change on a worldwide scale.
