The Central Election Commission (CEC), which is responsible for finalizing the results of the parliamentary elections, has a deadline of November 21, 26 days after the actual voting. The process is a combination of district commission protocols and court rulings. The CEC will then publish the results on the CEC website and send the official documents to Legislative Herald.
Political parties that receive a minimum of 5% of all votes will be awarded parliamentary seats. The number of mandates a party receives is determined by multiplying the total votes of the party by 150, and dividing that by the sum of valid votes from each participating party.
If the total number of seats allocated falls below 150, the remaining mandates are given to the parties with the second highest results.
Within two days after the final results are announced, the CEC will register and issue temporary certificates to all elected MPs.
