Giorgi Gakharia urged the public to attend the elections and express their views.
“Today is a very important day. First, I want to encourage every Georgian to come to the voting stations. You should be aware that no one knows who you voted. We should all vote to return the country to its normal state. We must do all we can to bring the country back to a normal democratic, free and fair European development path. This is not just our choice but also the choice of our ancestors.
