Irakli Kobakhidze is the chairman of Dream. He claims that the organizers who are currently holding the ‘” conference in Tbilisi have direct political affiliation with the radical .
Kobakhidze said to PalitraNews TV the government “couldn’t give even a tiny legitimacy” to radical forces by attending the conference.
He claimed that the majority speakers at the conference were selected political motives. He said that the invitation to take part in the discussion had been sent to Shalva , the of Parliament, and Archil Talakvadze, the Deputy Speaker.
“It’s precisely those people selected as speakers that implement this radical agenda in Georgia, or promote it from the outside. If I’m not wrong, only two of our delegates were invited to take part in the discussion. They were the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Shalva Talakvadze. There were many speakers, but only two people were invited. This also shows how this list was created and the agenda,” said Kobakhidze.
He claimed that certain politicians have a political interest. Kobakhidze referred to the former , Ian Kelly and the Director of Global Policy at the Institute David Kramer in this context.
“We often use conditional words, in this case, the word “lobbyist”, is largely conditional. And I would say, in fact, they are not the Lobbyists of National Movement but I think that National Movement is their Lobbyist. We are not being misled, but there are specific political interests that politicians represent. These are MEPs such as David Kramer, Ian Kelly etc. Kobakhidze said, “Let the decide who is a lobbyist and for whom.”
“When you join the National Movement, you’re interested in causing trouble in the country, indulging in war etc,” he said.
