John Briley, a Harris X representative, spoke to Mtavari arkhi about the results of the election. According to their research, Georgian Dream was unable to form a parliamentary majority, but that opposition parties will be able form a government together.
According to Harris X results obtained at the request of Mtavari arkhi, five electors had exceeded the 5% threshold by 20:00:
Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia 42%
Coalition for Change – 18%
United National Movement – 13%
Strong Georgia – 9 %
Gakharia for Georgia: 8%
“Harris X is of the opinion that the Georgian people gave the opposition a mandate to change,” a Harris X representative said. He added that this exit poll revealed another interesting trend: Georgia’s youth and women participated in the elections in large numbers. He added that this was a very obvious trend in these elections.
