Oct. 25, President Zelensky signed a law allowing foreign volunteers to serve in Ukraine’ as officers. The bill was passed by Zelensky after the Ukrainian parliament unanimously approved the amendments to the original draft law. Ukraine’s International Legion, which was launched in 2022 at the beginning of Russia’s full-scale attack on Ukraine, attracted foreigners who volunteered. Military veterans from the , Canada, the U..A, Australia, and beyond have joined the unit. In recent weeks, troops have been seen training with Russian forces in front-line regions. Officials warned, citing intelligence, that Korean soldiers could join the fight with Russian forces as soon as 27-28.
