He said that the first facility had already started operations. A production line and an equipment maintenance workshop were in place. The first batch (10 Lynx infantry combat vehicles) is expected to be manufactured by the end this year.
Construction is currently underway on three more factories, including those for the production of ammunition, gunpowder and air defense systems.
Papperger said that “Ukraine would continue to arm itself and increase its stockpiles of ammunition and equipment even if the conflict was resolved peacefully.”
