This week, Russian trolls cyberattacked the Dedaena Bar located in Tbilisi.
Dedaena Bar’s policy of imposing “visas” Russian citizens entering its territory was the reason internet aggression.
“Citizens from Russia require Visa in order to enter Dedaena Bar, because not all Russians will be welcomed. We are for equality and unity but we must make sure that no brainwashed Russian Imperialists end up in our bar. Please help out by submitting a Visa Application so that nobody has to hang around with Ass*oles. “Thanks for your understanding,” reads a statement posted on the bar’s web site.

On August , Dedaena Bar posted a statement to social media stating that Russians were attempting to put pressure on their bar by giving it a 1* rating.
The statement reads: “Russians are unhappy because they can’t enter the Dedaena Bar in Russian without a Visa, and the staff won’t speak to them.”
Data Gurdjieff the founder of the bar followed up with a second statement: “The SOS Cyber Attack on Dedaena Bar Bar continues, 5000 Google reviews alone, and threatening comments on other social media.” Gurdjieff wrote, “My personal posts have been reported and deleted.”
The bar received negative reviews, and as a result, its rating on Google dropped to 2.4. On the social media pages of the bar, aggressive comments were posted.
Georgians launched a campaign to support Dedaeni bar after the attack. Even Ukraine joined the campaign. The Ukrainian media Unian responded in response to the Russians online attack on Dedaena Bar, and called on Ukrainians support the owner’s principles and give the bar positive ratings. “For those that don’t know how, we have provided a reference. Unian wrote: “Enter the Dedaena Bar into the search engine, and then go to the reviews.”
Google removed the questionable reviews of Russian citizens by reporting them to Google and removing 3000 Russian posts. By writing 5-star reviews, Dedaena Bar also reported this. The rating for Dedaena Bar increased to 4.8.
