According to preliminary data published by CEC, “Georgian Dream”, will be represented in a new parliament by 89 members.
According to preliminary results, four political parties will enter the parliament in opposition. They will have 61 total mandates. The mandates are divided as follows: “Coalition for Change“, “Unity National Movement“, “Strong Georgia”, and “Gakharia for Georgia”.
According to the information at this time, 3100 precincts out of 3111 precincts were counted.
To determine the number received by a party, multiply the number of votes by 150, and divide by the total number of votes received by political parties who received 5% in the election. The total number is the number of seats that the political party has won.
If the sum of the mandats received by political parties is less that 150, the undistributed mandats are received by political parties in order to achieve better results.
