In Kharkiv, the massive Russian attack has left three apartments damaged and 21 private homes destroyed. Five children were among the 21 casualties.
Overnight, Russian forces attacked Chuhuiv, Kharkiv Oblast, and repeatedly struck Kharkiv, injuring 5 children, among 21 others.
In recent days, Russia intensified its attacks against Kharkiv, a city in northeastern Ukraine, using precision-guided KAB-250 guided munitions. These are precision-guided munitions that are designed to hit specific target. The attacks seem to have been focused on civilian areas such as residential buildings and shops in order to intimidate the local population, rather than military infrastructure. Ukraine’s air defenses are unable to intercept these guided weapons, especially when they are launched from a short distance across the border.
According to the National Police, the strike was carried out with guided aerial bombs as well as Tornado-S multi–launch rocket systems.
