The election was hijacked by a Russian special operations. We believe it is important that all Georgians who believe that Europe, and not Russia, won the historic Georgian elections on October 26 stand together and confirm that Ivanishvili stole this election! Tina Bokuchava, the leader of the “Unity – National Movement“, made this statement to the media.
Bokuchava stated emphatically that “Unity – National Movement”, does not recognize the election results and fully surrenders parliamentary mandates. According to her the mandates obtained by falsified election are as illegitimate and Ivanishvili’s election results.
Bokuchava said that the opening of electoral lists is also part of the struggle.
“Today, the president has called a rally of great importance. It is the last independent institution in the country. She said she did not recognize the results from the rigged elections.
We will not accept the parliamentary mandates. The lists will be closed, and we will refuse to recognize the elections. As the president stated, recognizing the elections would mean that Russia had entered the country through this special operation, and Georgia lost her European choice. We will not accept it because we believe the future of Georgia is European. Tina Bokuchava said that there is a consensus between the president, political spectrum, nongovernmental organizations, and the absolute majority Georgian citizens.
