State Emergency Service reported that at least 21 people, including five children, were injured in multiple air strikes launched by Russia on Ukraine’s northeastern Kharkiv Oblast overnight on October 28.

Six people were injured in earlier attacks on the 27th of October in the Saltivskyi district and Shevchenkivskyi district. Terekhov said that at least 21 homes and four cars had been damaged by the strike.
Oleh Simiehubov, regional governor, reported on Telegram in Chuhuiv that a warehouse was destroyed by an attack. However, no injuries were reported.
Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2020, Kharkiv has been constantly attacked by Russia. In the last few months, strikes have intensified against densely populated areas in the city.
Ukrainian officials have warned that Moscow has once again prepared to strike Ukraine’s energy infrastructure in advance of the winter months. This will cause blackouts and disruptions of essential services.
