Overnight on November 2, Russia attacks Kyiv, damages apartment building

Two people were injured and upper floors damaged by a fire caused by a Russian drone strike in Kyiv’s Sviatoshynskyi District overnight on November 2.
Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said that the fire, which started on the upper floors, covered an area of approximately 50 square meters. The attack caused damage to several apartments located on the 15th and 16th floor of the building, with the topmost floor suffering the most destruction.
In the districts of Solomianskyi (Solomianskyi) and Dniprovskyi (Dniprovskyi), debris from drones that had been downed was also found. According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, the attack damaged several cars.
