The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Youth Affairs of Georgia announced that Tbilisi will host the super final of World Water Polo League.
FINA, the International Water Fencing Federation, has granted Georgia the right to host World League Super Final for the first ever. The tournament will feature the Georgian team as well as the world’s best water polo teams – the USA, Japan and Italy. Also, the teams from Montenegro Greece France and Kazakhstan. The matches will take place at the Tbilisi Olympic Pool.
The group stage will be held from June 26-28. The playoffs will begin on June 29, and conclude with a final game on July 1.
The Georgian national team will be competing in Group B alongside the teams of Japan and Montenegro. In Group A, Greece, France and Italy will compete with Kazakhstan.
