Ombudsman : It is hard to believe that 350,000 people have been detained in “carousels”. I do not believe that over 100,000 people have had their ID cards taken away without a single person showing up.

A sane individual would find it difficult believe that, for example 350,000 people were transported on “carousels”. Even then, it would require ,000 minibuses, or more than 10,000 busses, to transport 350,000 people. I can’t believe that this all happened so quietly in this country.
He also did not believe, as he said in the “360 Degrees ” of ““, that more than 100,000 ID cards had been confiscated without a single person appearing to say that their IDs were forcibly taken away.
“As a public advocate, I am not on any political party’s side. I don’t stand with them. In many cases, I don’t repeat absurd statements which are hard for a sane individual to believe. For example, 350 000 people were taken to a “carousel”. Even then, to transport 350,000 people in different areas would require 30,000 minibuses, or more than 10,000 busses. I can’t believe that this all happened in a way where no one in the country could hear a thing.
I haven’t yet lost my sanity. I can’t imagine that over 100,000 people had their IDs taken away without a single person showing up. We have been begging for 2 months for anyone whose ID was confiscated to submit a statement. There is not one person who will admit that they are the man whose card was confiscated.
As the public defender pointed out, procedural violations were “obviously” present.
“Some things are objective facts. Ink has indeed been spilled, but this must be viewed in the context of whether it is related to your expression of will, whether it was secured or if it was influenced. As a public advocate, my job is to determine if someone voted without interference. There were, of course, procedural violations. What is the reason for so many complaints? These were violations. Ioseliani stated that the OSCE/ODIHR Report is a good example, as it contains many violations.
Ioseliani says that it is not up to the public defenders to speak about the legitimacy of elections.
According to him the ombudsman has a solution to every possible crime.
“It’s clear what the wants.” All demands from the opposition must be supported with evidence. In 3111 where the majority of the summary minutes was signed by the opposition party, only nine precincts had dissenting opinions. If they were all bribed and no one wrote anything about it, if seven statements were written about how the was leaked – if anyone believes this happened – then there were approximately 47 thousand .
We saw violations in real life. Violations are not crimes. We have the answer to all of these questions and to all possible facts. We have a response for anyone who is interested in what we’ve been doing during this time. It is a lie to expect that the Public defender will come out and discuss the legitimacy of the election, when he didn’t participate in the process. “Not a single public has done this and no public defense will be able do this,” Ioselian stated.
