Russia deploys assault units near Berdiansk front in Zaporizhzhia Oblast

According , the advisor to the Mariupol mayor, increased movement of forces including assault units is observed along Berdiansk’s axis towards the frontline.
According to Espreso TV’s Mariupol Mayor’s Advisor Petro Andriushchenko, is moving significant assault forces closer to the frontline in the Berdiansk District of Oblast.
The Zaporizhzhia Front has become the focal point of intense activity in the ongoing between Russia & Ukraine. Both sides are currently engaged in fierce combat, with Russian forces trying to maintain their positions, while launching attacks near critical locations like or Mala Tokmachka.
The stated that new Russian forces were moving “fairly heavily” in the area from the end of 28th October and continuing until 30th October.
“We observe new units arriving from the Russian Federation, which are being deployed via Berdiansk direction towards . We can see units moving closer towards the frontline in the Volnovakha District, near Vuhledar and the northern part Mariupol district. This process is almost completed in the Mariupol-Berdiansk Agglomeration where new contract soldiers are undergoing training.
He also said that there was notable movement of manpower on 29 October. This included assault units being transported from Berdiansk, to Tokmak. Roads were closed during the transfer. Andriushchenko said that all of these Russian forces were being positioned along frontline in Zaporizhzhia from Huliaipole up to Vuhledar.
He also said that Russian aircraft, including helicopters, planes and guided aerial missiles, have increased their activity over the Mariupol District.
Andriushchenko said: “It appears that aggressive actions are being conducted in the Vuhledar region, where the enemy is trying to conduct attacks.”
He said that a similar level was observed during the occupation at Vuhledar. This was followed by a pause in operations, but now reactivation is evident.
