The US Helsinki Commission published a statement on their X website about the destruction of Georgian Democracy by Georgian Dream, and the increasing refinement and sophistication of authoritarian political technology.
“Georgia held elections that were fraught with problems, and the results probably did not reflect the will or the people.” The US and European Union should take the destruction of Georgian Democracy by the Georgian Dream, and the growing sophistication in authoritarian political technology, seriously,” the statement stated.
