Ukraine has reportedly shot down 2/12 missiles and 17/43 drones. 23 UAVs crashed, while three others returned to Russia.
On the morning of October 31, Ukraine’s announced that it had successfully repelled a significant Russian aerial assault involving multiple drone and missile across nine provinces.
Russia continues to launch deliberate daily air strikes on residential areas, in an attempt to terrorize civilians. Every night, the Russian forces launch dozens – usually designed – Shahed 131 and 136 -range “kamikaze drones. They also often launch several missiles.
During a night-long operation, the Ukrainian Air Force confirmed that it had shot down 17 drones and two guided missiles. The attack came from multiple directions including the occupied Crimea region and Russia’s Rostov oblast.
According to the Air Force , two Iskander /KN 23 ballistic missiles were launched from Crimea towards the bridge over the Dnister Estuary at Zatoka in Odesa Oblast. Eight guided aviation Kh 59/ missiles have also been fired by tactical aviation aircraft in the Black Sea area.
Two more Iskander M/KN-23 missiles were launched by Rostov Oblast in the direction of , Donetsk Oblast. Russians have deployed 43 drones in the direction of Kursk and Orel, including Shaheds as well as unidentified drones.
Ukraine’s air defence, consisting of anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare groups, and mobile firegroups, responded in Odesa and Kyiv.
Air Force confirmed that two guided Kh-59/69 rockets were destroyed over Odesa by 08:00. Twenty-three drones were “located lost” (meaning crashed), and three Russian drones left controlled airspace to fly towards Russia or occupied .
