Five people were injured and a civilian was killed in other attacks.
Local officials report that Russian forces launched an aerial bombing attack on a Kharkiv residential building late on 30th October, killing 2 people, including a 12-year old boy, and injuring 34 more. The strike, which took place at 22:49 local, targeted a nine story apartment building in Kharkiv’s Saltivskyi District, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, and Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration chief Oleh Syniehubov.
Russia continues to launch deliberate daily air strikes on residential areas, in an attempt to terrorize civilians. Every night, the Russian forces launch dozens – usually Iranian designed – Shahed 131 and 136 long-range “kamikaze drones. They also often launch several missiles.
According to Syniehubov the attack was probably carried out with a FAB 500 aerial bomb. The blast destroyed the entrance to the building from the first floor up to the fifth. Rescue operations were hampered due structural damage and collapse risk.
