The (Geostat), which reported 4, stated that Georgia’s annual rate of remained low, at 0.3% in the month of 2024. The National Statistics (Geostat) reported on November 4 that the annual inflation rate in Georgia was 0.3%. This was due price changes in restaurants, hotels, and miscellaneous products and services (5.8%), education (5%), alcoholic beverages, and tobacco (3.3%), and communication (12.7%). Source: GeostatThe monthly rate of inflation was primarily driven by changes in the prices of clothing and footwear (6.7%), food and non-alcoholic drinks (0.4% increase), as well as transport (.4% decline). In the food and non-alcoholic beverage subgroups, prices fell this month : milk, cheese, and eggs (.3%); oil and fats (1.6%); jam, honey and chocolate (1.4%); cereals, bread, and cereals (0.5%); and vegetables (0.6%); mineral waters, soft drinks and fruit and vegetable juices (0.4%).
