ISW: Russians advance at Svatove Kreminna Siversk and Vuhledar

Despite significant losses, Russian mechanized involving more than 100 troops and multiple armored cars resulted in gains of territory south of Siversk.
The Institute for the Study of War reported that Russian forces gained territory in multiple sectors of the eastern Ukraine front line on November 2-3.
Over the past year, has focused on capturing the Ukrainian cities in Donetsk oblast. Major attacks have been repeated near Pokrovsk and Avdiivka, among other cities.
Geolocated footage confirms on the eastern outskirts Of Andriivka west of Svatove and in northern Terny of Kreminna.
A Russian military blog claims that forces have advanced “half a km in depth” within Petropavlivka, east of Kupiansk.
The has reported ongoing operations along a wide front, including near Holubivka and Synkivka. According to the ISW (Inter-Services ), Russian forces are also conducting attacks with wounded personnel in order to maintain the intensity and speed of infantry assaults.
Geolocated footage confirms that near elements of Russia’s 33rd Motorized Rifle Regiment advanced into eastern while the 36th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade captured Maksymivka.
Additional footage shows Russian troops capturing Katerynivka, and advancing towards a bridge to the east of Yelyzavetivka.
ISW describes a Russian mechanized assault southeast of Siversk as “a battalion size mechanized attack involving 120 Russian servicemen and seven tanks, thirteen infantry fighting vehicles, and two MT LB amphibious armored personal carriers.”
Ukrainian forces claim to have suffered significant losses. They claim to have “destroyed nine BMPs, six Russian tanks, and 19 Russian personnel.”
