G7 foreign ministers warn that any military involvement by North Korea in the war with Russia will be met with a ‘coordinated’ response.

According to a joint statement released on November 5, the foreign ministers of the Group of Seven (7 G7) and three key ally countries have expressed “grave concern” over the military deployment . They are also working on a coordinated response.
“Several thousand DPRK soldiers have been deployed in Russia.” The DPRK’s support for Russia’s war against Ukraine would not only show Russia’s desperate attempts to compensate for its losses but also mark a dangerous extension of the with serious consequences for peace and security and Indo-Pacific,” read the statement.
“It would constitute a further violation of international law and the fundamental principles of U.N. Charter.” Charter.”
The ministers condemned “in the strongest possible terms” the intensification of military cooperation between , Pyongyang and Russia. This included Russia’s “unlawful acquisition” of North Korean missiles.
The ministers expressed concern about possible transfers of nuclear or missile-related technology, from Russia to DPRK.
“We reaffirm that we will continue to support Ukraine in its defense of freedom, sovereignty, independent and territorial integrity. “We are working with our partners internationally to coordinate a response to this new event,” read the statement.
Volodymyr Zelensky, the Russian President, said on November 4 that North had deployed 11,000 troops to Russia’s Kursk Oblast.
The next day, Rustem Umerov, the Defense Minister confirmed that the first clashes had already occurred between the (UAF) and North Korean soldiers in Kursk Oblast.
According to Zelensky’s , Russia has confirmed the West that Pyongyang forces are involved in the war.
