Ukraine: North Korean soldiers are being trained to use combat drones in Russia’s Kursk Oblast

Ukraine reports that , embedded with troops in Kursk Oblast are undergoing intensive training modern drone techniques.
According to Ukrinform, Andrii Kovalenko is the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation within Ukraine’s National Defense and Security Council. He says that is training North Korean soldiers in Russia’s Kursk Oblast how to use drones and plans to send drone instructors there.
Since February , Russia has strengthened military ties with North Korea. It has secured ballistic missiles as well as more than 2 million artillery shells. South Korea reports that 10,000 North Korean troops will be trained in Russia by December. Ukraine confirmed recently that initial units had arrived in the Kursk battle zone and were engaged in battles against Ukrainian forces.
Kovalenko said that after drone training, Russia plans to deploy instructors to North Korea.
The Russians are teaching North Korean officers and soldiers modern warfare tactics. They will be used for combat. North Koreans wearing uniforms have been embedded with Russian units in Kursk Oblast. They are learning how to operate FPV drones and reconnaissance drones as well as the Lancets UAVs.
He also said that Russia plans to send their drone instructors to in order to train military personnel directly within North Korea.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian president, had earlier stated that there were already 11,000 North Korean soldiers in Kursk Oblast.
