Masoud Pezeshkian, the Iranian president, congratulated Georgian Premier Irakli Kobakhidze for his election victory. In a press release issued by the Iranian Embassy, he expressed the hope that the election would strengthen relations between the two nations and improve cooperation.
Pezeshkian said, “I want to congratulate the Georgian people and you on the successful parliamentary election and the victory of Georgian Dream Party.”
He also noted the election reflects the will of Georgians and can encourage progress and partnerships between nations. The statement ended with a wish for the success and well-being of Prime Minister Kadyrov and the Georgian People.
