There is only one plan, the culmination of protest. The CEC has until November 21 to publish its summary report. After that, they have a 10-day window to try and assemble a Parliament and legitimize it. This is not acceptable! Zurab Japaridze is one of the leaders of the “Coalition for Change” and told journalists at the Court of Appeal where leaders of opposition coalitions gather.
All of Georgia should stand up, as Japaridze said.
“There is a protest in the Court of Appeal, because cases filed by non-governmental organisations are here. This is a violation of the secrecy surrounding votes. We have seen the Tetritskaro Court’s decision. This means that the secrecy in the country has been broken, indicating there have not been any elections. Yesterday, the review of the case was delayed, and the lawsuits from both Tbilisi as well as Kutaisi have been combined. They wrote to judges who are guided, so that the same precedent does not repeat itself anywhere and a random decision is not made. This protest is very important. The plan is that there will be a demonstration here today and then the political leaders can agree on the development. I believe there is only one strategy – the culmination this protest. The CEC has until November 21 to publish its summary report. After that, they have a 10-day window to try and assemble a Parliament and give it legitimacy. Japaridze said, “I don’t think we should allow it. The whole of Georgia should stand up and come out”.
