The renovated house museum, which was originally opened 1976, after her death, will reopen for guests Saturday, November 7, according the Georgian .
The of and Sports supported the restoration initiative to modernize the building by installing new heating, lighting, and cooling systems. It also added storage area. The museum’ original ambience has been preserved with a focus on showcasing artist’s working and living environment.
The project scope included the restoration and conservation of over 100 graphic works and 44 paintings as well as 19th-century Georgian Textiles. The museum plans to continue hosting concerts and other cultural activities.
The budget for the initiative was GEL 376 180 and it was implemented by ‘AbsolutePlus.
