Natia Mezvrishvili is being questioned in Tbilisi City Court by a magistrate in the case of an alleged election fraud. She told reporters that this was a circus, and a fake investigation.
“This is a phony investigation. You all know how it began at the behest and instigation of the CEC, and Ivanishvili. I therefore have no faith in this investigation. I went to the magistrate to protect the votes stolen by our party from the citizens in Georgia. Obviously, I brought concrete proof. The authorities are very familiar with this evidence. These people may start a large-scale campaign of propaganda before and after the meeting, as if the evidence does not exist. But I brought the exact evidence that I’ve been sharing with the public over the past few months. I am making this all public. We have shared all of this with the observers. And we will do the same. The testimony will be recorded, and when it comes time for the real investigation this testimony will be given to the real investigator. Then, neither the CEC chairman nor the prosecutor’s office that promotes and assists the CEC to falsify evidence will be able escape responsibility. A similar situation applies to the agencies and officials that participated in the rigging of the elections. What is happening is a strange anomaly. I was one of the writers of the article that I am now declaring here. We did not write it for this purpose. We did not write a court article about interrogation for this circus that unfortunately the agency where I spent 11 years organizing here pretending to investigate”, said Mezvrishvili.
