According to information provided by the “Georgia Young Lawyers Association“, Tbilisi Court of Appeal has not complied with the GYLA request for the annulment of results of 1293 precincts.
GYLA stated that the court failed to protect the constitutional right of the voter, which implies the secrecy in voting.
“As a consequence of a nearly 24-hour discussion, Tbilisi Court of Appeals failed to satisfy the request of GYLA due to the fact that massive violations of the secrecy of voting, it invalidated 1293 technological districts of Eastern Georgia.
Despite our evidence, the court refused to uphold the constitutional rights of voters.
GYLA informs: “We remind you that the Kutaisi Court of Appeal has made the same decision in regard to the technological districts of Western Georgia”.
