In its first reading, the Parliament approved the draft law “on the transparency of foreign influences“. 76 deputies supported the draft law and 13 voted against.
Discussions of the project were held in the midst of tension and controversy for several hours today.
The second draft of the law “on registration of foreign agents”, was not discussed in today’s session and therefore, could not be voted upon.
The second one will be voted upon on Thursday, and then sent to the Venice Commission.
