The United Kingdom sanctioned Anatoly Bibilov, the former “president“, of occupied Tskhinvali.
Treasury Department of Great Britain has announced that Bibilov was sanctioned due to hostilities against Ukraine. The sanctions include freezing his assets and a ban on travel.
The UK government issued a statement that read: “Anatoly Bibiblov is or was involved in destabilizing Ukraine and undermines, or threatens, the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine. He engages in or supports any policy or actions that destabilize Ukraine and undermine, or threaten, the sovereignty, territorial integration or independence of Ukraine.”
