The United National Movement (UNM), is holding a rally to demand the transfer of former Georgian President Mikheil Sakaashvili abroad to receive medical treatment. A procession took place near the 12th Penitentiary Institution in Rustavi.
“After the full convergence of the international community, United States, European Parliament and individual MEPs on Mikheil’s condition, now it is important to organize public and civil protest. The United National Movement has started rallies today in Batumi, and Tbilisi. These will be continuous and permanent rallies until Mikheil Saakashvili‘s fundamental rights are secured”, said Nugzar Tiklauri, member of the United National Movement.
