The Tbilisi Court of Appeal has been reviewing lawsuits regarding the invalidated electronic voting results from the Tetritskaro district and Tsalka district. Judge Vladimer Kuchua‘s decision to invalidate the results at the polling stations in question is being questioned.
The lawsuit is a joint case prepared jointly by the Georgian Young Lawyers‘ Association and the election monitoring group My Vote. It will be reviewed by a panel.
The hearing involved an experimental test, where cameras were placed three meters from the voting machines to determine if ballot marks could be discernible. The court’s final ruling is expected to be heavily influenced by the results of the experiment.
