Civic Movement Fined for Hanging Banner Admitting “Stolen election”

The civic movement which is part of the observer missions has been fined ,000 GEL (1100 USD), for displaying a banner that read “Russian Dream Stole Elections” on the wall of their office building.
The local government in (a town located in western Georgia) said that the banner hanging was “illegal advertisement”.
Media sources claim that the of the Observer Movement were fined individually 1500 GEL (550 USD), two days ago, for this banner.
“With this banner, we are protesting the stolen elections…It is completely absurd claim that this is an advertising for something…This is , it is an attempt to rob people of their to freedom of expression,” Otar Revishvili told the media.
He also said the movement would not be paying the fine and will fight the decision at court.
