Charles Michel, the President of the European Council (EC), says that there are doubts not only in Europe but also in other parts of the world about the Georgian parliamentary elections.
He announced it to the media today, 8 November, during the European Political Union Summit at Budapest.
Charles Michel stated that the European Council will evaluate the issue of Georgian parliament elections and send a clear signal.
“There are serious suspicions about the [Georgia] elections, which requires a serious investigation.” Charles Michel said that we need to know the truth about this process in order to ensure that everything was done transparently and fairly.
