The National Statistics Office of Georgia published a report about outbound tourism for the third quarter of 2024. This represents a 7.4% decline from the same period in 2023.

* Number of outbound flights: 603,0 thousand, a decline of 6.8% from the previous year
* Tourist-type visitors: 402.1 thousand. This is a slight increase by 1.1% over the previous year
* The age range most commonly represented by outbound travelers is 31-50 years old, which accounts for 47.4%.
32% of trips are made to visit friends or relatives.
* Top destinations are Turkey and Russia with 237,4 thousand and 119,000 visits, respectively.
