According to a security source, drones from Ukrainian intelligence hit the Saratov refinery in Russia, a Rosneft facility, causing explosions and damages.
A Ukrainian intelligence source informed Liga on 8 November that Ukraine’s Main Directorate of Intelligence, HUR, had carried out a drone attack on the Saratov Oil Refinery, an energy facility owned by Rosneft, the Russian energy company.
The Saratov refinery, formerly known as “Cracking”, is a part of Rosneft, a Russian state-owned company. Ukraine has intensified drone attacks on the Russian oil industry this year, disrupting fuel supplies vital for the Russian military and reducing the Kremlin’s export revenues.
According to a source, HUR drones were able reach the Russian city Saratov during the night and hit the local refinery.
