Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia, will attend the 29th UN Climate Change Conference, which will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan‘s capital, from November 11-13.
According to the press service‘s information, the leaders attending the conference will be hosted both by UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres as well as President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Alaiyev.
The Prime Minister of Georgia, during his visit to Baku will meet face-to-face with the President of Azerbaijan.
Irakli Kobakhidze will deliver a keynote speech at the COP29 Leaders’ Summit, as well as participate in panel discussions on various topics.
The 29th UN Climate Change Conference aims to assess the impact of climate change on human life and the economy. Leaders are discussing how to reduce emissions, which will help to prevent the effects of global warming.
The Prime Minister and the delegation of Georgia, including Ministers of Foreign Affairs Ilia Dachiashvili and First Vice Premier Levan Davitashvili and Head Government Administration Levan Zoholiani, will attend COP29.
