Participants of the protest march organized in Freedom Square by the “Daitove group” are gathered near the building of Tbilisi Sakrebulo.
Citizens gathered on the site demanded that re-parliamentary election be held in the nation.
According to their assessment the government “stole elections and falsified people’s votes” of the Georgians. The participants of this rally have raised the flags for Georgia and the European Union. According to organizers, participants will be given the action plan on the spot.
“Re-elections must be fair and the CEC should have a different composition. We are in a situation where it is difficult to focus on one thing or have a single demand. This action is a combination of everything, but it still demands that new elections be held. We were told that politicians would also join us. It doesn’t really matter who plans the rally; the important thing is that everyone stands together. Tekla Vasadze told “InterpressNews” that the rally participants were all working for the same cause.
