The reported on Nov. 10 that the number of Russian killed and injured last month was 1,500 “every day”. This is according to Admiral Anthony Radakin, Chief of the Defence Staff.

This figure is higher than that of the U.K. Defence Minister John Healey who told The Telegraph in November 8 that Russia had suffered 41,980 deaths and injuries during October, a daily average 1,354.

While the doesn’ announce the number killed and injured, Western officials claim that October was the most difficult month for .

The daily figure reported from Kyiv is 1,660, which is the second highest in the war.

The U.K. estimates that the number of Russians killed and injured is just under 700,000. This is in line with Kyiv’s estimate of 708,890 on Nov. 10.

Some experts believe that the recent surge in losses may be a factor in the deployment of North Korean forces to Russia.

Radakin, a BBC reporter, said that Russia sacrifices large numbers of troops to gain “tiny increments” of land. He added that Russia was making “tactical territorial gains” and “putting pressure on Ukraine,” despite a heavy offensive.

Over the past few months, Russian forces have significant gains in their operations near Toretsk and Chasiv Yar as well as . They have also gained ground on their own territory in Oblast.

Radakin insists that despite the talk of Ukraine ceding its territory to Russia after Donald Trump’s election victory, Kyiv’s Western allies will remain unwavering in support “for as as it takes.”
